Oh yes...we are proud, honored and excited to let you all know Mr. Michael Wildes is our newest contributor for SOMW, this guy has quite a resume and story to tell...

You have all heard of Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum right? Well do you know how they got to stay in the USA? Because they have Michael backing them up...that is right he is THE Immigration Lawyer of the Fashion and Entertainment industries.

He started as a lot of kids start, following his fathers footsteps...do you know who his father is? well...you OF COURSE know about John Lennon...well guess what? THAT IS RIGHT...his father Mr. Leon Wildes... took care of Immigration Laws for him, as his lawyer he got him his green card and made sure he could stay in the United States...

Now...we are fortunate enough to announce he is backing us up...and of course all our readers and members of the SOMW family...so if you need anything, give him a holla...he will take care of you, just let them know you are part of SOMW and let him do the hard work...

Now we asked him 5 simple questions so you can get a feeling of how cool he is and how he is actually the best out there...


SOMW: Who are your favorite (fashion/model) client to work with?

Michael: The cases for Miss Universe 2008 and 2009 are my favorites, as there are interesting issues of acclaim and differentiating between the artistic and the business facets of the cases.

SOMW: Is it dangerous to work with a tourist visa?

Michael: If by dangerous you mean illegal, the answer is resounding YES, SI, OUI, DA, JA, HAI and SIM. It is unlawful for a foreign national to accept compensation for services performed in the United States while in the country in a visitor visa status. There are some serious repercussions for working unlawfully in the Unites States, ranging from deportation to a permanent ban from re-entry.

SOMW: What services do you provide for models and other fashion/entertainment individuals?

Michael: Work/Family visas, Green Cards and Citizenship.

SOMW: What do you love about the fashion and model industry?

Michael: (starts laughing) Attractive women...and there is usually food left at the buffet...just joking just joking (laughs out loud)...

IT’S A BOY!! Congratulations to new Supermodel Mom Gisele Bundchen

Congratulations to model Gisele Bundchen and her husband, New England Patriots Quarterback, Tom Brady! The happy couple welcomed their baby boy into the world on December 8^th. Brady announced in a press conference that the birth of his son has been “a wonderful experience in his life”. The Boston Globe reported that Gisele’s mother and a few of her sisters were at her bedside during the delivery.

Brady and Bundchen married in February of this year in Los Angeles. This is Gisele’s first child and the second for Brady, who has a 2 year old son named Jack by model/actress Bridget Moynahan.

It’s obvious that this little baby has hit the genetic lottery.

Maybe one day he’ll follow in his mother’s footsteps and take over the modeling industry.

In the mean time, SOMW would like to congratulate Gisele and Tom on the new addition to their family.

Adriana Lima - Supermodel Mom

The news was out 2 weeks ago, but we decided to write our own article about it as this is quite the exciting story in the modeling world.

This has been quite the year, you can see all the famous Victoria Secret Angels are taking a break for supermodel stardom and embracing motherhood. As of now 4 Angels have being on the discovery of the joy of being a mother.

Angels like Adriana Lima and Heidi Klum are showing the world how proud they are to be mothers, the beauty of their pregnancy and their more sensitive side; Gisele Bundchen and Karolina Kurkova are not far from being due to have their babies as well. It was only this summer when we could see Adriana gracing the red carpet of the most fabulous parties showing the world her baby bump.

Adriana and her 31 year old Serbian husband, NBA start Marko Jaric have been doing nothing but enjoying and preaching the world about their love and their upcoming baby for the past few months. Valentina the beautiful daughter of Adriana and Marko was born on November 15th.


After Valentina Lima Jaric’s birth, Lima’s rep. announced to the media: “Adriana and Marko are overjoyed that they are expecting their fist child together and are excited to share the happy news and start their family together.”

Everybody at SOMW is wishing Adriana, Marko and Valentina a very Merry Christmas. If you come to think about it what better Christmas gift than Valentina.

Congratulations Adriana and Marko, and maybe we can see Valentina following her mother footsteps in a few years, but that is another story…
