Sarah Tyer hits Fashion's Night Out

SOMW invited Sarah Tyer (Red Model Management) to be our official spokesperson for the evening, we had a great time running into the Olsen twins, Joanna Kruppa, Eve Salvail, Narciso Rodriguez (who kept complementing Sarah on her smile), The Head Casting Director of Abercrombie and Fitch and other fashionista personalities.

Here are some of the picture our photographer snapped during this crazy evening...

The 3 that stole our breath away...

Badgley Mischka - Narciso Rodriguez - Max Azria = no words to describe

Badgley Mischka:

Mark Badgley and James Mischka focus to take us to the tropical glamour of the 1950's Cuba for spring, think Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights. They sourced their visuals by going through old photos of friends family snapped during Havana's glamour peak. (The friends, incidentally, were in Palm Beach—the perfect locale to wear these clothes today.) Badgley and Mischka mostly worked a formula of clean, breezy fabrics with a well-measured dose of embellishment.

Narciso Rodriguez:

Narciso loosened up the silhouette dramatically, letting air in. Everything from a white silk, linen and organza bubble dress, to a silk mud-cloth coat.
His pieces were sewed in together perfectly, creating a multidimensional look to it. The show was closed with a trio of short-in-front, long-in-black dresses, that took this concept to a whole different level. Chic, sexy propositions for a formal evening, they billowed behind the models in the runway breeze. His collection was absolute perfection.

Max Azria:

The Azrias went minimalist, oh yes they did! Bits of sking exposed in a PEE-KA-BOO fashion. Azria slashed dresses in a very raw, creative yet sexual way. Some pieces were brilliantly tailored. We saw personalities, like Mickey Rourke, Lucy Lui and Kelly Rowland (who looked like she wanted to just take the dress off of the models and take it home right there and then, she is quite the Max Azria fan).
